Jeffrey Charles Siegwarth, 77, of Fishers, Indiana, went home to the Lord on December 26, 2020 after a long illness. Born January 30, 1943, Jeff spent his formative years in Lakewood, Ohio. He proudly served in the US Navy for 4 years where he worked on the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga.After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Jeff met the love of his life, Rhoda (Hexter) in February 1964. They were married on April 24, 1965 staying united for more than 55 years. They built a life of laughter and love with 3 children and close bonds with family and friends while living in the Cleveland, Ohio, Fort Wayne, Angola, and Fishers, Indiana areas.Jeff was a well-respected industrial salesman working at Wayne Pipe and Supply in Fort Wayne for 25 years and Jet Mechanical until his retirement. He then moved to Fishers, Indiana where he was owner of SpecFab Products. Jeff’s passion drove him while his humility grounded him.His laughter was contagious, especially while sharing stories at family gatherings. But most importantly, he was selfless in his love and deeply cared about others, even during his illness.An example of a “Life Well Lived”, those lucky enough to call him husband, dad, uncle, grandpa, neighbor and friend will always remember this beloved man. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Rhoda of Fishers, Ind.; children, David (Lisa) Siegwarth of Churubusco, Ind., Mark (Meegan) Siegwarth of Huntertown, Ind., and Melissa (Matthew) Plimpton of Noblesville, Ind.; grandchildren who loved him as their “Papa” or “Poppy\”, Nicholas (Abby) and Katherine Siegwarth, Lauren and Ryan Siegwarth, and Annabelle, Gracie and Josephine Plimpton; and siblings Robert Siegwarth of Westlake, Ohio and Nancy Powers of Englewood, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary (Williams); brothers Charles “Chuck”, Brian, and Mike and sister Carol Snider.A private family viewing for family will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
