Jennifer Jo Nordstrom, 62, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, July 11th peacefully, in the presence of her family.

Jennifer was born on October 5th, 1959, in Crawfordsville, IN. She married the love of her life, Keith Nordstrom September 1st, 1979. She worked as a preschool teacher for 23 years at Imagination Station and spent the last 8 years as a kindergarten assistant in Perry Township Schools.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Esther Hendricks; father-in-law, Russell E. Nordstrom; grandparents, Ernest and Aveline Hendricks and Russell and Bertha Wallskog; uncle, Richard Born, and cousin, Brett Born.

Jennifer is survived by her husband Keith Nordstrom and daughter Lisa Harris (Chris); mother-in-law, Vivian Nordstrom; aunt, Janet Born; cousin, Brady Born (Lezlee); sister-in-law, Kathryn McLaughlin (John); brother-in-law, Steve Nordstrom (Allison); nieces and nephews, Katy Finney (Chris), Sean McLaughlin (Annessa), Russell Nordstrom, Madison McFarlane (Dustin); and great nephews, Jack and Camden Finney.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Perry Township Education Foundation. To donate online, please visit https://ptef.org/. or envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Services for Jennifer are Wednesday, July 20 at 2:00 pm at Singleton & St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, 46227 with gathering at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of service.

Keith and Lisa, I had the wonderful privilege to work beside Jennifer!! She helped me so much my first year teaching preschool at SUMC and became a fast and true friend over the years.
