Jerome “Jerry” D. Weaver, of Zionsville, passed away January 19, 2022, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with a brief illness He is survived by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest. He was born on April 22, 1955, to James D. & Virginia E. (Richart) Weaver in Seymour, IN. Jerry grew up in Seymour, IN, graduating from Seymour High School and playing multiple sports all throughout high school, which he loved and excelled at. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. He was part owner and CEO of SSI Services, LLC, in Indianapolis from 2008-2021 and was previously CEO of Specialty Systems, Inc. of Indianapolis. He had recently fulfilled his life-long dream of obtaining his pilots’ license through First Wing Flight Aviation School in Zionsville, Indiana. Jerry was an amazing, loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was an avid Colts fan and rarely missed a game. He loved watching and coaching his children and grandchildren as they played sports. He loved traveling and took many family trips to Gatlinburg. He was sarcastically funny, witty, stubborn, hard-working, caring, and generous and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Jerry is survived by his wife, Wanda (Hall) Weaver, his sons: Jason (Kimber) Weaver, David (Ranjita) Weaver, Isaac (Ashley) McNeil, and Isaiah (Annie) McNeil; a daughter: Stephanie (Johnnie) Compton; his 18 grandchildren, a great grandson, his brothers: Joe (Ellen) Weaver and Jim (Diane) Weaver; his sisters: Jeanine (Doug) Fisher and Judy Prince; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joanie.A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 12pm-3pm at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 125 West Sycamore St., Zionsville Indiana 46077.
