Jill Elaine Buck, Branson Philip Buck, and Aidan James Buck, all of Greenwood, went to be with their Lord and Savior Friday, July 24, 2015.

They are survived by Jill’s husband and Branson and Aidan’s father, Paul Buck; children and siblings Grace, Olivia and P.J. Buck; and Jill’s parents, Les and Alice (Espich) Pollert.

Jill, 47, married Paul Buck on June 3, 1994 in Indianapolis. She was an Optometrist, having been employed by HealthNet, Center Grove Eye Care, and Greenwood Family Eye Care. She also had previously taught kindergarten at Twin Lakes Elementary School in Monticello.

She was a 1986 graduate of Mooresville High School, and later attended University of Indianapolis and Indiana University School of Optometry.

Jill was a member of the Community Church of Greenwood. She enjoyed being outdoors and active, and most importantly, being with and taking care of her family. Jill was deeply loved, admired, and respected as a godly woman by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Branson, 10, was a fourth grade student at Maple Grove Elementary School. He enjoyed hip hop dancing, singing to Radio Disney, his iPad, playing soccer, and going out to eat with his family. Branson smiled and laughed often, loved unconditionally, and was a precious gift to many.

Aidan, 8, was a third grade student at Center Grove Elementary School. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing sports, especially soccer and basketball, and playing FIFA on the PS3 with his brothers. Aidan loved to sing loudly in the car, making people laugh, and was a caring and thoughtful young man.

Dr. Charles C. Lake will officiate a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30PM, Wednesday, July 29, at the Community Church of Greenwood, 1477 W. Main Street, Greenwood.

Hi ! I am Dawn Heistand ! I hope and pray that Jill's family and all who knew and loved her are taking care of themselves the best they can ! When I heard about her passing I just could not believe it ! She was to young to go , for I just feel that death happens to older people like in their 90s and older ! I know that she was young ! I do not know how her death came about but hope that she did not suffer any ! I heard about Jill when I was sitting in a vehicle and my niece who works at an eye glass place heard about Jill and wondered if we knew her for Jill worked at the same Health Center that we go to ! So my relative got into contact with my brother with the news about Jill ! I went online and read about Jill in her obituary and seen her photo too ! I guess that the Lord decided that it was time for Jill to join him in heaven ! Thanks

Hi ! I am Dawn Heistand ! As far as I know Jill Buck was the first optometrist at the South East Health Center years ago ! I remember one time she was examining my eyes and said to me - Did you know that you have a freckle in your eye ? so I said to her that I felt a burning in that eye and that was all I knew - ! She tried to give me a glocoma test but the machine did not work to do that with so she apologized to me for that ! My sister whos daughter works at an optical place down town called and asked us if we new Jill Buck and we said - yes - ! It was during that conversation that we were told about Jill's passing ! Jill was the first optometrist who ever examined my eyes ! I find it hard to believe that she and her loved ones have passed away ! I hope to see them in heaven some day ! I pray that God gives her friends , coworkers and loved ones strength to handle the passing of such a sweet and caring person as Jill Buck ! Thanks
