John Wesley Cox

John Wesley Cox, of Jamestown, IN, died Thursday, July 19, 2007 in Witham Memorial Hospital. He was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, on February 10, 1951 to Joe and Jean Cox. He married Ellen Johns on September 5, 1970. John was employed by RR Donnellys in the art department. He was a local artist, wood carver and family man. He was a Past Master of the Hazelrigg 200 F & AM Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife and 2 sons, Jason Cox & Sheila Leigh and Ben & Christy Cox, 6 grandchildren, Klaudia, Alexis, Michael, Christian, Bailey and Abby, 3 brothers, Richard Cox of Sarasota, FL, Bryan Cox of Banks, OR, and his twin James of Jamestown, IN, his father & step-mother, Joe & Marty Cox of Crawfordsville, IN and many nieces & nephews. His mother preceded him in death. Friends will be received Sunday, July 22, 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana with a Masonic service at 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Monday, July 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.with Art Thomas officiating.
