Judith Ann Hamilton

Judith Ann Hamilton, 58, left this world for the next on August 24, 2016 after a long period of illness.� Judy was born November 27, 1957 in Indianapolis where she lived her entire life.� She attended Lawrence Central High School.� Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Perkins.� She is survived by her father, Richard Perkins; brother, Steve Perkins; daughter, Jennifer Terwilliger; granddaughter, Hannah Terwilliger; niece Dawn Keown; and long-time mate, Jeff Lint.Judy was devoted to her family, caring for her father the last few years.� Judy was known for her kindness and generosity, always putting others before herself.� She was the first to offer help and love to friend and stranger alike.� A life-long vegetarian she loved animals as well as people, especially her beloved cats.Judy was a true flower child.� She loved music, dancing, hippie clothes, and spending time with family, friends and strangers.� She enjoyed traveling to Grateful Dead shows, eating good vegetarian food, and shopping on QVC, usually to buy gifts for others.Judy was a beautiful woman full of love and life.� She will be missed by all who knew her.A celebration of Judy’s life will be held Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lawrence Community Center in Lawrence Park.� All are invited to share in the remembrance.Arrangement have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
