Kathryn Jackson Ingram, 86, of Zionsville, passed away Wednesday evening December 16, 2015. Kathryn was born February 18, 1929 in Rushville, IN to James R. and Renae M. Reed Jackson; they preceded her in death as did her brother, Charles Jackson.Mrs. Ingram was a 1947 graduate of Knightstown, IN High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence Ingram. Together, they shared almost 64 years marriage until his death on February 14, 2012.Kathryn was retired from American Monitor where she worked as a graphic artist.Prior to that she worked for a number of years at Compolith, a commercial type setting company in Indianapolis.Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Kathryn has been a member of almost 50 years at the Zionsville Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, was a member and active in the Dorcas Circle, and where she shared her delicious baked goods. Above all, she will be remembered and cherished for her kind and loving way with everyone.As faith was the cornerstone, family was the light of her life. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve Ingram (Barb) and Cheryl Garlinger (Doug); grandchildren, Joshua Boyle, Joel Ingram (Dayari), and Hannah Ingram Phillips (Andrew); step-granddaughters, Angela Eberhart (Ben) and Kelly Wurz (Brian); and her great children, Gabriel Reed Boyle and Siena Valentina Ingram. Also surviving are her brothers, Phil & Doug Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Zionsville Christian Church, 120 N. 9th St., Zionsville with visitation from 11:30 am until service time.
