Kevin passed away peacefully Friday, December 31st, 2021. He was born in Madison, IN to Frances and John York May 19, 1952. Kevin graduated from Greenwood High School in 1970. During that time, he met his loving wife, Cindy, and they were married November 22, 1975. Kevin opened ‘E-Z Living Carpets’ in 1975 with his father, and co-owned and operated the business for 30 years. Kevin loved to watch sports, and had an insurmountable collection of music. He is survived by his wife, Cindy York, children: Son, Todd York and Daughter, Tabitha York. Grandchildren: Tierra, Savannah, Destiny, Sophia, Elijah and Kyrin, as well as 2 great grandsons. Sister: Linda Greeson (Gerald) Brothers: Michael York, Deny York, Richard York (Linda)He was preceded in death by his son, Ian Sloan York on July 5, 2009, our beloved Laurie Dickey, and parents Frances and John York. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 11th at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46142 with a memorial gathering from 4:00 – 6:00pm at the funeral home.

I've known Kevin since (?1962?), Not sure of exact year but we met at Northeast Elementary. Sending prayers ,hugs,and heartfelt sympathy to all of his family and friends. He will be missed by all of his Facebook friends for his positive upbeat messages. I'm praying he's at peace now that he's reunited with Ian. Hoping all of the family and his friends will find comfort and peace in the stories and memories that will be shared today. Deepest sympathy.
