Larry Romaine Allman, 80, of Greenwood, passed away on February 19, 2022.Larry was born in Seymour, IN on July 20, 1941, a son of the late Arnold Allman and Mary (Fender) Reynolds. He graduated from Medora High School in 1959 and went on to Purdue University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He worked for General Motors, Allison Transmission and Rolls Royce his entire working career, retiring after 40 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his bike, photography and sitting on his porch listening to bluegrass. Survivors include his children: Randy (Beth) Allman, Cassandra (Juan) Carrizo and Scott Allman; grandchildren: Nick Tharp, Tara Barnett, Chasity Allman, Skylar Allman, Anastacia Carrizo, Frank Carrizo, Alejandra Carrizo and John Carrizo; a brother: Michael (Cathy) Allman; and a sister-in-law: Mary Allman. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Wayne Allman, and a granddaughter: Alaina Allman.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 481 W. Main St. Greenwood, IN 46142. Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
