Larry W. Funkhouser, of Middletown, Indiana passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023. Larry was born on June 26, 1950 in Anderson, IN to the late Carl Sr. and Alora (Burton) Funkhouser.
In Larry’s life he served our country in the U.S. Army. He was also a very hardworking man, he was always working on antiques cars and driving them, his house, or anything he could get his hands on. Larry also a wonderful sense of humor where he would tease his wife Regina and son Derek. Overall, Larry was just a fun and loving man who enjoyed his family very much.
Larry is survived by his wife Regina Funkhouser; daughter, Jennifer Jarrell; son, Derek Funkhouser; stepdaughter, Leslie Griffin; grandkids, Noah Merritt, Aurora Griffin and Forest Griffin; brother, Richard Funkhouser; sister, Jean Osborne, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl Funkhouser Jr.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date provided by the family.
