Laura May Smith

Laura May Smith, 35, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016.� She was born May 28, 1981 to Michael and the late Faye Smith in Nashville, Tennessee.� She attended Central Catholic and Roncolli and graduated from Beech Grove High School Class of 99.She loved and was loved by those who met her and was a meticulous mother to animals.Our loss of Laura is beyond words and we will miss her until our reunion in Heaven.She was preceded in death recently by her beloved mother, Faye, of whom she has rejoined. She also experienced the devastating loss of her cousin, Jeremiah and grandmother, Mary.She is survived by her father, Michael and his wife Heather; her sister, Melissa and her husband, Will Zollicoffer and their son, Don Ramando; her brother, Michael Smith, Jr. and his sons, Michael and Jeremiah.A Celebration of Laura’s life will take place at a later date.Memorial contributions are suggested in Laura’s memory to the Marion County Animal Shelter or the Wheeler Mission.Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
