Ms. Laura Osborne, 90, of Lizton, IN, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo, IN. Laura was born December 29, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN, a daughter of the now late John Alfred and Bessie (Kelly) Wiles. She married Hollis Osborne on November 5, 1965. He passed away in 2002. Laura graduated from Fishers High School in 1943. She worked for J.I. Holcomb, a cleaning products company, where she handled the freight claims. She is survived by her son Hollis Dean (Nickie) Osborne of Sharpsville, IN; her grandchildren Kyle Johnson and Boyce Johnson; her sister Jill Sutherland; and her nieces and nephews Gail (Rick), Jackie, Donna, Linda, Guy, Jane, and Rosie. Laura was preceded in death by her parents John and Bessie Wiles, her husband Hollis Osborne, her sisters Mary Jo (Donald) Perry and Eva (John) Colbert, her brother-in-law Guy Sutherland, and her niece Joy. Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Mar. 22, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, IN and services will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 23 at 1 p.m. in the Montclair Christian Church, 5864 Montclair Road, Lizton, IN. I am so sorry to hear of Laura's passing.

Hollis and Nikki, we just got word of your loss, sorry too late to attend the viewing, and we are unable to get off work for the funeral. This is really a loss for us all, my thoughts and prayers toward all at Montclair have been frequent lately even more so than usual. Laura was a wonderful person and we have fond memories of her. God be with you all!

What wonderful memories of all the laughter and warmth and sunny days spent at your home. Our Christmases would have been merger events without your kindness. I will always cherish the hand made outfits you sewed for my Barbie Doll. The money you sent bought our gifts. You were always so good to your nieces and nephew. The trips we took and the garage sale adventures are fond memories. You will be missed, but I know you are enjoying being with Uncle Hollis, Dad and Joy. My thoughts and prayers are with Hollis and Nikki.

Hollis and Nikki, just got the word of Aunt Laura's passing. I know your hearts are saddened, but as believers we all know she has her re-birth into heaven and will be at peace. I pray that your hearts will mend and her memories will someday replace a sad heart with one of joy. Bless you all! I always loved her and was so happy that you both came to my Mom's memorial.
