Rev. Lee A. Butz, 91, of Zionsville, IN died June 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family and God’s angels.� He had been admitted to St. Vincent Hospice three days earlier, after sustaining a brain injury during a fall.Lee was a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis and an ordained Missouri-Synod Lutheran pastor for 65 years. He served congregations in Jackson, MN, Sparta, IL, and Greenfield, IN.� After his retirement, Lee served as� interim pastor of Zionsville Lutheran Church, (now� Advent Lutheran Church) until the congregation called its first pastor.� He was a founding member of Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Westfield, and a member of its Building Committee.� Lee was a warm, kind, funny, eloquent man who spent his life telling people about Christ and the salvation He had won for all believers.� He loved riding his motorcycle (until age 90), hunting, working in his garage, and spending time with his family and church family.Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Terrie; his children Paulette Carson of Noblesville,� Pat Hunter (and husband Sam) of Zionsville; Ric Butz (and wife Rhonda) of� Bella Vista, AK, and Jan Kolva (and husband Jim) of Haymarket, VA.� He is also survived by grandchildren Chad Baker (and wife Kindra), Claire Hunter, Max Hunter, and Alex Kolva, and his great-granddaughter, Kiera Baker.Calling will be Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 15605 Ditch Road, Westfield, IN.� A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev.
