Lisa S. Clayborn

Lisa Clayborn48, of Martinsville, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at St Francis Hospital as a result of heart failure. Lisa was a follower of Jesus Christ and we celebrate her passing from this earth to a life fully completed in Him. Lisa was born in 1972 to Mark and Susan Bunton. Mark went to be with the Lord in 1996. Lisa was the eldest child and has two siblings Amanda Dalton and Katie Justice. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School where she met her husband Nathan Clayborn. She went on to receive two degrees in Speech Pathology (Purdue) and Elementary Education (Indiana Wesleyan).Nathan and Lisa were married in 1992. The two shared their lives on the foundations of truths revealed in the Bible. The two have four children Morgan (24), Zachary (22), Rachel (20), and McKenna (17). Her family was her passion and she was the heartbeat and center of that family. Lisa was an avid scrapbooker and photographer and has left behind over 40 completed volumes and thousands of family photos for her family to rejoice in and to have memories of her in. Lisa is survived by her husband Nathan, their children, Morgan, Zach, Rachel, McKenna; her mother Susan and step father Tim, her siblings Amanda and Katie and their respective families, her step siblings Joe, Jenny, and AJ and their respective families. And many additional family and friends that loved her.While her family was her passion, her Faith in Jesus was her core. There was not a day that went by that her faith did not play out in her daily life. She and Nathan raised their children and hoped to impact those around them in the belief that this world was the present but not yet fulfillment of the reign of Jesus.
