I have known the Zickler family since we moved into Hunters Pointe in 1981. Our boys grew up together, built forts in the woods, rode bikes, and were at one time part of the Hunters Pointe gang. Linda and I became good friends over the years. The love and affection Linda and Lou had for each other was very evident. He was always the soft spoken, kind, and warm gentleman in the background. He was the kind of man you want your son to grow up to be. I'm certain that the wonderful memories Linda, the boys, and his grandchildren have of him will help ease the pain they are feeling now. Lou was one of those gifts God sends to help us have a better life.

You have lived a good life because your fruit is a true attestation to that, you will ever be remembered and rest in bosom of our lord, my condolences to the family

I met Lou in person once about 20 years ago, but his early involvement in the Society for Marketing Professional Services had great influence on my life and those of the many thousands of SMPS members over the past almost 50 years. Without his vision as a founding member, our profession would not be recognized for the powerful value it offers to firms in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. I hope you (his family and friends) will find comfort in knowing that he made a difference that rippled far beyond his immediate circle.

Condolences to Lou's family. I worked along side Lou as the 2010 IAR President. Never a cross word was spoken. I told many people, that Lou didn't speak often, but when he did, you better pay attention. He will be greatly missed.Rudy W. Koch2010 PresidentIndiana Association of Realtors

Dear Linda,
It has been many years since I have seen you and Lou. But I remember him as a kind man, a humorous man and a person full of integrity. Mo thought the world of him. I too have parkinson's disease. I know what Lou has experienced as well as his family.God-bless you all.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I was so shocked and saddened to read this. Lou was a real gentleman and so very kind. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lou's family, especially Linda, who was definitely the light of his life. May the good Lord wrap you in his loving arms and ease your pain.
