Lucille Whiles, 91 years old of , Jamestown, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Avon Health & Rehab. She was born May 8, 1920 in New Ross, IN, daughter of the late Grover C Perry and Sara Jane Todd Perry. She was a member of Jamestown Christian Church. Surviving are son, Kenneth Walter (Carolyn) Whiles of Knox, IN, daughter, Martha Jane (Wilbur) Sellers of North Salem, IN, twin sister, Louise Isenhower of Lebanon, brothers, Grover (and the late Bonnie) Perry of Linden and Lloyd (Sharon) Perry of New Ross, sisters-in-law, Mary Perry of Crawfordsville, and Pat Perry of New Ross, grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) Whiles, Lisa Sellers, Brian (Mel) Sellers, Brent (Julie) Sellers, and Missy (Roger) Call, great-grandchildren, Matthew Whiles, Madison Whiles, Brock Sellers, Kari Sellers, Jordan Sellers, April Sellers, Ben Call, and Nick Call. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Whiles, sister, Geneva Butler, brothers, Fred (Maxine) Perry, Byron Perry and Robert Perry. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 23, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Harlan Kincade officiating. Growing up I can not imagine having better neighbors than the Whiles family. They helped us out several times and once Kenny Jr even drove my little sister, Susan to the hospital after she broke her leg. Our condolences to Kenny and Martha, or Sissy as we called her growing up. You had a great mom and I am sure her and Kitty are catching up now as old neighbors tend to do.
