Lucy Katherine Butler, 104, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was born April 7, 1916, in Kentucky to the late James & Nola (Barker) Horton. Lucy retired from Delco-Remy as an inspector, having worked there for over 40 years. Lucy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Thompson; grandchildren, Stephanie Jones, Gina Pritchard, Keith Thompson, Kathy Davis, Kevyn Thompson, & Lavonne Elliott; special great-grandson, Nick Jones; several great & great-great grandchildren; special niece, Joy Tackett; and several nieces. She was preceded in death by husband, Homer Butler; children, James Thompson, Barbara Thompson Jones, and infant children, Carl & Loretta; and nine siblings. Services will be at 1 pm Wednesday, March 3, at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until time of services at the funeral home. Due to COVID mandates, masks are required, and we ask social distancing be practiced.

Aunt Lucy was always a strong and giving lady. I remember so well when spending time at her home in Shirley with Barb when I was a boy. She lived sharing with her family which she loved.
