Margaret Elizabeth Ray, 69 years old of Advance, IN, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Witham Memorial Hospital. She was born March 21, 1940 in Logansport, IN, daughter of the late Elihu and Zella Curtis Shotts. She was a homemaker and also worked as a custodian for Western Boone Schools. Surviving are sons, Rocky Ray and David Ray both of Advance and Rick (Char) Ray of Indianapolis, daughter, Diana Ray of Advance, sister, Florence Army of North Manchester, Grandchildren, Leana (Gary) Parker of Jamestown, Josh Ray and Brad (Jackie) Ray both of Indianapolis and Aaron Ray of Lebanon, 8 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Shotts and Albert Shotts and sisters, Frances Lantz, Mary Jane Madary, and Grace Potts. Friends will be received Friday, February 12, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Advance Community Christian Church, Advance, Indiana. Services will be held at Advance Community Christian Church, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Al Ray and John Ray officiating.
