Marilyn K. Sweigart (Rose), 75, of Anderson, passed away to an extended illness with Lung Cancer on January 3, 2024. Marilyn was born on August 23, 1948, in Anderson, IN to the late Herbert and Mary Rose.
Marilyn attended Pendleton Heights High School. She worked for St. John’s Hospital for over 20 years. In her free time she loved to go fishing, deer hunting, and camping, especially sitting by the fire.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Kelley Young of Anderson, IN; son, Kevin (Amanda) Moreland of Alexandria, IN; brothers, Richard (Cathy) Rose of Anderson, IN and Herb (Carol) Rose of Anderson, IN; sister, Linda Brown of Pendleton, IN; 3 grandsons, Bruce (Samantha) Moore, Kevin R. (Mackenzie) Moreland, and Tyson Forwalt; granddaughter, Kailey Moreland; 3 great-grandsons, Jameson and Owen Moore, and Jerry Moreland; great-granddaughter, Savannah Moreland, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Sweigart and her parents, Herbert and Mary Rose.
Arrangements have been entrusted by Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
