Rev. Marilynn L. (Baker) Hamilton, 91, of Franklin, passed away January 13, 2015. She was born July 5, 1923 in Linton, Indiana to the late George J. and Oneta L. (Weimer) Baker. She married Rev. Keith E. Hamilton who preceded her in death.Survivors include daughter Laura Christine (Tom) Truby of Portland, OR, sons Timothy Keith (Grace) Hamilton of St. Louis, MO, David Joel (Christine) Hamilton of Kailua-Kona, HI; daughter Elizabeth Joy Blackbird of Grand Rapids, MI; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her infant son Mark Noel Hamilton. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 10 at Wright Memorial Chapel at the Franklin United Methodist Community, 1070 W. Jefferson St., Franklin, IN 46131. An inurnment service at Grace United Methodist Church will follow immediately. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women, locally, or at www.unitedmethodistwomen.org. Arrangements are being handled by Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
