I'm so sadden to hear the new of my Aunt Marjorie passing. I remember her at family reunions visiting with her 9 brothers and sisters. I admired how she was always dressed so nice and her hair was always perfect. She had a lovely laugh that I remember as they all sat around and told stories of their childhood. I wish I had recorded her life story. There was 10 children and now only 5 remaining. Aunt Marjorie had lived the longest so far!! Those Edney genes are strong!! Praying for Nancy and Johnny through this difficult time.

I am Craig Stiegel, married to Marge's niece Holly Huntley Stiegel. Everybody remembers Marge warmly over many years. I first met her at an Edney Family gathering for the marriage of her younger brother Douglas (also a wonderful person) way back in the 1970's. She was always gracious to me, and I know that she was kind to Holly when she was growing up around Washington, D.C. where they both lived. There is no question that she endured some physical challenges in her later years, but how wonderful that she enjoyed a LONG life, as many of her 9 Edney siblings have also. Nancy did a simply SPLENDID job remembering her Mom here...one of the better remebrances I have ever seen. Marge made a difference here with her life. We can all celebrate that. She lives on in Nancy and John. Children are life renewing itself.
