Mark Wayne McCarter, 57 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 24, 1949 in Rochester, IN, son of Charles and Ruth Hammond McCarter. He was a member of NRA, NMLRA, Minnisink Valley Longhunters & Freetrappers, Wolf Creek Muzzleloaders, Morgan Co. Longrifles, Quabashe Valley Frontiermen, and Thunder Creek Gun Club. He worked at Belkin Logistics & previously at Shell Oil Company for 18 years. Surviving are his parents, Charles and Ruth McCarter, of Zionsville, wife, Jane McCarter and daughters, Christina (Ron) Frazer of Brisbane, Australia, and Jennifer (David) Collins of Jamestown, sister, Barbara Steinmetz of Zionsville, brother, Charles Jeffrey McCarter of Fishers, and 4 Grandchildren, Brittnee and Kaylee Collins of Jamestown, and Lilly and Sarah Jane Frazer of Brisbane, Australia. The wake will be held Friday, September 7, 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the family residence. Graveside services will be held at the Jamestown I.O.O. F. Cemetery, Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Tab Greenlee officiating. All are welcome to attend both services.
