Martin Hayes 75, Indianapolis, passed away February 10, 2015. He was born December 1, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late James and Gertrude Hayes. He graduated from Scecina High School and retired as a firefighter from the Indianapolis Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Karla Hayes; sons Adam (Gretel) Hayes and James Dearinger; daughters Shawn Hayes, Maureen Hayes, and Erin Hayes; step-daughter Jai Kartar Khalsa; sisters Ellen Brown and Mary Ann Chrisman; brother Tim (Cookie) Hayes; and 10 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Michael and John Hayes. In accordance with Marty’s instructions there will be no services. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care.
