Mary Youngs

Mary Youngs 87 of New Ross passed away Saturday August 26,2006 at the Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She was born Jan. 11,1919 in Hendricks County,resided in New Ross for most her adult life. She was the daughter of Herman and Alta Stewart Hubble and married Americus Youngs, Nov. 12,1938 who precedes her in death on April 1982. Her parents, three brothers and three sisters also precede her in death. Survivors include all of her children, Ronald Youngs, his wife Trudy,Pensacola FL. Karen Moore, husband Bob,Dublin OH and Jill Jarvis, her husband Jim, New Ross, IN. six grandchildren and nine great grand children. Mrs. Youngs was a graduate of Advance High School 1937, worked for the state of Indiana. Culver Hospital and was custodian at Walnut Elementary School 1973-83. She was a member of the New Ross Christian Church and held the position of song leader for many years. She was also instrumental in forming the Fellowship of Christian Ladies. Visiting hours will be Tuesday August 29,2006 from 4:00 until 8:00pm at the Porter Funeral Home in Jamestown where the Serive will be Wednesday at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery, Crawfordsville, In.
