Melvin “Bill” LeRoy Sylvester, 70, passed away September 7, 2016.� He was a resident of Indianapolis.� He was born August 20, 1946 in Tuscola, Michigan to the late George and Lucille Sylvester.He is survived by his sons, Jason Sylvester and Chris Sylvester; daughter, Billi Jo Young; and one granddaughter.Melvin was a veteran of the U.S. Army having retired in 1989.He was an avid Civil War gun collector.Services will be private.Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
