Michelle (Dean) Canada passed from our arms into the arms of her Heavenly Father Sunday evening, the 31st. She had been given 52 years.Michelle was the child who talked too much in class; the teenager who would ‘surf’ on the hood of a car; the beautiful young woman who loved to dance; and the fierce advocate and aid for both her own children, as well as little ones around the world.She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, educator, missionary and friend to many. Most importantly, Michelle was a daughter of the King who allowed faith to shape every facet of her life. She loved well; she lived well; and has now heard the words we all hope to someday, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”Michelle is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughters: Christina (w/ Dustin), and Annie; her son, John; and her beautiful granddaughter, Ellie. She is also survived by her parents, Don and Janice Dean; and her brother, John (w/ Denise & Joel).We will celebrate Michelle’s life this Saturday at Pendleton Christian Church at 11 o’clock. The family will be present between 9 and 11 if you’d like to offer condolences. In lieu of flowers, please bring some chocolate to the service (and leave with some!), and/or make a donation to Pendleton Christian Church which will be used to help children in need at our local elementary schools.
