Norma Jean Neal, 87, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Sunday, December 4, 2022.
Jean was born July 3. 1935, in Muncie to the late, Grace & (Huntzinger) & Amos M. Rodgers, Sr. She graduated from Eden High School in 1954. On June 22, 1956, she married the love of her life, Kelly M. Neal, at the Christian Church in Eaton. Jean cofounded Print Right, Inc which won the Small Business Award from the City of Anderson. For many years she attended the Faith Church where she was an active member. She volunteered for Triad along with other purposes close to her heart. Jean was fun loving and adventurous all the way up to her passing Sunday. Jean was known as “GG”, the adopted grandma to many. She attended their activities and sports to show her love.
Jean is survived by her sister, Elaine Young; several nieces & nephews; several great nieces & nephews; and many “adopted” grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly; brothers & sisters-in-law, Amos & Francis Rodgers and Barney & Mary Rodgers; and brother-in-law, Jerry Young.
Services will be at 2pm Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, officiated by Pastor Carl Lamb.
Visitation will be from Noon until time of services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Church.
