Nancy E. Bradford, age 87, of Indianapolis, passed away February 4, 2024. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana, on February 24, 1936, to Hanley and Roberta Marlin. Nancy was an avid reader who enjoyed sewing and writing ‘The Adventures of Charlie’, a wonderful column she contributed to the Crestview Village Newsletter about the shenanigans of her dog, Charlie.
She is survived by her son: Ronald (Raeline) Bradford; daughter: Brenda (David Hawkins) Bradford White; brother: Jim Marlin; grandchildren: Andrea Bradford, Cody Bradford, and Jason Goodwin; seven great-grandchildren; as well as her furry companion: Stanley.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband: Jack R. Bradford; parents: Hanley and Roberta Marlin; brother: Jon Marlin; granddaughters: Amy Bradford and Jessica Goodwin; and her other furry companion: Charlie.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis at indyhumane.org, and the Alzheimer’s Foundation at alz.org.
