Nancy Sue Funkhouser

Nancy Sue Funkhouser, passed away suddenly at the age of 62 on July 5th 2018.She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 28, 1956, to William K. Silvis and Joan M. (Lahrman) Silvis. �She graduated from Zionsville High School in 1975, and was planning to retire from the Zionsville School System as Zionsville Freshman Center Cafeteria manager in October of this year. She loved crafts, exploring many camping destinations, spending time with her fun-loving family and friends.She will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 44 years, Owen Dale Funkhouser of Kirklin; �and children Theresa [Ben] Ridding of Zionsville, Amy [Jason] Ingram of Lebanon, and Owen Dale II [Brittany] Funkhouser of Kirklin. She will also be greatly remembered by her 7 grandchildren Alex, Courtney, Gage, Cody, Katie, Oliver, and Lukas; and by her fun giggly sisters Ruth Kidwell, Cathy [Jerry] Ottinger; brother Bill [Tracy] Silvis; brother in-law Eric Huntsman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Silvis; sister Mary Huntsman; and brother in- law Stan Kidwell.A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 15th 2018 at 2 PM, with a Celebration of Life to follow till 5PM at the Zionsville American Legion Post #79, 9950 E. 600 S., Zionsville, IN 46077.Arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care�Zionsville.
