Nellie B. Likens, 79 of Anderson, passed away Dec. 12, 2015, at her residence.

She was born April 15, 1936, in Anderson and was a lifelong Anderson resident. She was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed going to sales and playing bingo. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in- law, Lonnie R. and Sue Neff; grandsons, Chad Neff and Steven Neff; step grandchildren, Douglas T. Lawson and Melissa Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Kyle; step great-grandchildren, Holden, Megan, Benjamin and Aaron; brother, William Lawson; and nieces and nephews; Gene Boswell, Billy “Bub” Lawson, Tim Lawson, Rick Lawson and Cathy Schuyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Charity (Boswell) Lawson; and a brother, Nelson Boswell.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
