For my Uncle Nelson's Family...I am so sorry for your loss. I met my Uncle for the first time that I am aware of in October 2019. My mother,Priscilla really wanted to see her baby brother. We had tried a couple of years before, the the timing was not right. I am so thankful that we got to visit with him this past trip. He had such joy in his heart, great smile, and so very proud of his family. Great sense of humor and it was like we had always been together. My heart goes out to you all. My Mother would love a copy of the photos...she really has none. Be well and bless you all, Sheri Davis and Priscilla Wheeler Miles

Our family has enjoyed living across the street from Nelson for our eleven years here. He was a kind, helpful neighbor to us and our two young children loved waving at him and talking with him. Nelson made us feel welcome in the neighborhood and always put a smile on our faces - especially when dropping off entire bags of Halloween candy for the kids. Our condolences to the Wheeler Family.

I am so sorry for the difficult time the family is moving through. Nelson was an inspiration, a good leader and a great friend. He was one of the first people I met after joining the Military. He managed to guide, direct, teach and inspire with just a few words. I love this man and look forward to our chance to reunite.
Until then my prayers go with the family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Our deepest sympathy to the Wheeler family. I well remember our grade school days at Bristow when he Nelson with great grandpa and grandma Wheeler . We would sometimes stay over at each other home. Well remember the house where you had to cross the foot bridge, then later moved across the road. These had to be tough years for uncle Nelson. He was a good man. May he Rest In Peace.
