Surrounded by her loving family, Norma Grubb Fansler was welcomed into heaven on January 28, 2015. Norma was born January 5, 1928 in South Bend, Indiana to Marden and Lala Kent Grubb. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Grubb. She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Wayne. They were married in the First Baptist Church of Shelbyville August 8, 1946. She was a graduate of Shelbyville High School and received her Mrs. Degree from Indiana Central College, where Wayne graduated.Survivors are daughters: Carol (Neil) Burbank, Tucson, AZ; Karen (George) Yeager, King Cove, AK; and son Gary ( Sue) Fansler, Quincy, IL; granddaughters: Layla Fansler, Las Vegas, NV; Hayley Fansler, Chicago, IL; Corrine Burbank, Tucson, AZ; and grandson Brock (Eva) Fansler, Los Angeles, CA; two great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, James (Sue) Grubb, Lafayette, IN and Lawrence (Sandra) Grubb, Owensville, KY, and a dear sister-in-law, Mary Grubb, Indianapolis also survive.She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Franklin, a founding member of the Mid Hoosier Model A Ford Club, and the Red Hat Society. She was a girl’s 4-H leader in Wabash County for several years having several State Fair championships to her credit.Calling will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 951 North Main Street, Franklin, IN 46131. Funeral will be 2:00 Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
