Oral R. Beard 95, Southport, died December 22, 2014. Survivors include his sons Michael (Michele) Beard of Indianapolis and Mark Beard of Orlando, FL; daughter Deborah (Andrew) Mayfield of Franklin; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Ora and Ethel Beard; wife Marjorie Beard; and brothers Melvin and Everett Beard. Services will be Monday 1:30 PM at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care in Franklin. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the service at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
