P. Paulette (Vinson) Gerig, age 77, of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Community Hospital South. P. Paulette (Vinson) Gerig, age 77, of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Community Hospital South.
Paulette was born in Albany, KY on April 10, 1946, to the late William Harry Vinson and Edna Lucy (Conner) Vinson. Paulette loved animals, enjoyed playing Bingo, sewing and crocheting.
Survivors include her children, Jennifer E. Paton (David) of Greenwood, Charles W. Shaw of Franklin and Holli M. Harris of Greenwood; one sister, Connie E. Law (Randy) of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Chelsea Olson, Caitlin Fruits, Austin Harris and Alexis Harris; great-grandchildren, Oaklyn and Owyn Fruits; two nieces, one nephew and great-nieces and nephews.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald Gerig.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 30 from 12:00PM-3:00PM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of P. Paulette Gerig to Johnson County Animal Shelter, 2160 Graham Road, Franklin, IN 46131.
