Patricia Butler, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother; went to live with Jesus on Thursday, March 28, at Copper Trace Facility in Westfield, Indiana.
She was born December 7, 1929, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Faye and Ruth Wickliff. She met the love of her life, Harvey Butler in Indianapolis, and they were married on June 1, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Pat was a graduate of Howe High School in Indianapolis. She worked for 20 years as a Clerk at JC Penny in Castleton, before retiring and spending over 10 years being a Nanny. Pat was a member of New Hope Christian Church in Whitestown Indiana.
Pat loved spending time boating with Harvey and the grandchildren. They spent many summers enjoying the waters of Raccoon Lake, Mississinewa Lake and she particularly enjoyed spending time on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky.
Pat was preceded in death by her son Robert Butler and son in law Harold Rogers. Surviving are her daughter in law Linda Butler; daughter Debra Rogers; son Steve (Cindy) Butler; her 11 grandchildren and spouses, Derek (Marisa) Butler, Kevin (Ashley) Butler, Stacy (Steven) Sosa, Logan (Alicia) Butler, Jason (Jeanine) Rogers, Greg (Tammy) Rogers, Jeff (Heather White) Rogers, Joe (Terri) Rogers, Nikki (Jeremy) Fleshman, Morgan Hughes, Autumn (Andrew) Kazacoff; her 24 great grandchildren; and her 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James Wickliff and her sister Jesse Estep.
A Celebration of Life will take place at New Hope Christian Church (Whitestown, IN), on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 2:30 PM, with visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service.
