Michael “Mike” Miner, 76, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away January 16, 2023, with family by his side. He was born September 8, 1946, in Greensburg, Indiana, to the late Robert and Rosemary (Gaynor) Miner. Mike was also preceded in death by his great niece, Jordan King.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Connie M. (McCubbins) Miner, as well as two step children, Jeff Harnack and Holly (Harnack) Davis; two step grandsons, Ben Davis and Nick Davis; a step great grandson, Rhett Davis; a sister, Mary Ann (Miner) Carter; two nieces, Lisa (Carter) King (Garland) and Amy (Carter) Jones (Kevin); four great nieces, Emma Jones, Mackenzie King, Kaitlyn King, and Davyna King; three great nephews, Kyle Jones, Ryan Jones, and Bryson King; and a great-great nephew, Hudson Jones.

Mike was a graduate of Greensburg High School and Indiana University in Bloomington, from which he graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He was a Sargent in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Viet Nam war. He worked in the banking industry as an attorney in the Trust Department. Mike retired from the Trust Department of Old National Bank on December 31, 2011.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Historical Society Of Decatur County (Greensburg, Indiana) or the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation, Inc. (Akron, Ohio).

Funeral services are Monday, Jan. 23 at 11:00 AM. Visitation is from 10:00 AM until time of service on Monday and on Sunday, Jan. 22 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46227. Burial will follow the service on Jan. 23 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory.
