He was born October 28, 1930 in Kennard, Indiana to the late Howard and Blanche (Boyle) Kendall. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Delco Remy as a Millwright after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Greensboro Masonic Lodge, Anderson Moose Lodge and Anderson American Legion. He loved welding, cooking in his shop, music, and his dog Butch. Survivors include his children, Karen (Phil) Hinchman of Greenfield, Connie (Rick) Hoy of Greenfield, Donna Kendall of Indianapolis, Lori (Lee) Lutes of Palm Bay, Florida, Steve (Lori) Kendall of Indianapolis; 23 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren and nieces, Sandy Koon-Kellums and Linda Stootes. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. A Masonic service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, IN 46186. Burial will be at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Knightstown American Legion. Due to COVID restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
