Raymond C. Schick, Born August 29, 1941 to Wilbur Coral Schick and Neva Frances Schick In Bluffton, OH. Passed away on November 14, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Donna: his brother, Lloyd: daughter Jennifer (Janell) Collins: daughter, Julie (Brian) Reaser, and six grandchildren, Bryce, Jace, Sarah (Caylob), Samantha, Dearon and Krystal. Ray graduated from Ada High School In 1959 and Ohio Northern University with a BS In Biology In 1968. He served in the United States Airforce for 4 years working with missiles in Okinawa and Germany.From 1971 to 1981, he worked for Glass Container Corporation in Indianapolis. In 1981, he pursued a career in Washington D.C. working on environmental issues for Glass Packaging Institute and later worked with National Electrical Manufacturing Association on governmental issues. In 1986, he returned with his family to Southern Indiana to build an underground home in Freetown and live closer to nature. He worked for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in the Office of Air Quality doing stack testing and compliance inspections until he retired in May of 2007. Ray had many diverse interests. They included working with rocks and gems, wine making, hydroponics, mushroom growing, spiritual studies, genealogy, playing pool, bowling, and playing euchre, poker, and bridge.
