My heart and prayers to you and your family, Debby. So sorry for your loss.
Debby I am so sorry for your lost. Dick was a good person and friend. I didn't move to Greenwood until my freshmen year. I ran into Dick on Halloween night. He showed me all around Greenwood. It was alot of fun. Even though Greenwood looked different in the daylight, he helped me to learn the layout of the town. My heart and prayers goes out to you and your family. Dick will be missed, but not forgotten.
Debby and Family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Dick. My heart and prayers go out to you all
My prayers and condolences go out to your family. I will always remember that big smile Dick always had on his face. Such a pleasure seeing him around the High School.
I can't imagine Greenwood without Dick Wood. I was in the same class with his brother Mike, and Dick was the older brother that all of us younger kids knew and respected. I was good friends with Debby in grade school. Quite a few years went by without seeing either of them, but I was so glad when I found out they had gotten married. I thought it was a blessing that these two very kind, easy-going Christian people had found each other and I know they had a great life together. Dick had a rough couple of years and I'm so happy that he has now found peace. All my prayers and love to Debby and the rest of the family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Dick was such a positive spirit wherever he was. We always enjoyed his quick wit and we all have good memories to treasure from the many years that he was a part of our lives. We were fortunate to have enjoyed his and the Gladtones singing at many family events including my Father's Surprise 96th Birthday! He will be greatly missed by many, many others including his Greenwood High School Class of 1962! Our thoughts and prayers are with Debby and the entire family.
Debbie I'm so sorry to hear that you have lost your one true love. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Debbie, it took our breath away when we were informed of Dick's passing. Evan and I knew Dick in two very different ways. Evan was always talking about what a good guy and great athlete Dick was in High School. He was the guy that the other guys looked up to. I knew Dick later in life, as your husband , the man that always had a grin on his face. I had the pleasure on several occasions to hear Dick's beautiful tenor voice as he sang with his barbershop group. We pray that your heart heals quickly, so that you are able to embrace the memory of your life together.
I had the pleasure of singing barbershop with Dick for ten years or so and considered him a true and trustedfriend. He will indeed be missed. Condolences to Debby and the rest of his loved ones. Jim Duke
My heart goes out to the family. Many cherished memories of my cousins on my dads side. I loved to listen to Dick sing. When he worked for the school he would come in the office hug me and kiss me on the cheek and say I was his girlfriend. I would always have to explain he was my cousin. If I knew anything about Dick was his never ending love for his family. I will truly miss him. Love and prayers to you all.

My prayers and condolences to your family. I always remember your dad's happy smile and he always was singing. Also, remembering the deer hanging in the back yard. Now, we have them hanging in our yard. ((((Hugs to all!))))
Gary and I were very sad to hear of Dicks passing. He was a classmate of Gary's and a longtime friend. May God bless Debbie and the family and keep them in his arms.
Our heart is saddened but we know Dick is rejoicing in heaven. There are no words to describe the influence Dick had on my life and my husband's. He was our youth leader at First Baptist Church in the 70's. He lead us on path to Jesus that we still follow to this day. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Stacy, Trisha, Debbie and the rest of the family. We loved Dick and he was always there for us as teenage kids and as adults. We will miss him dearly. My prayers are with everyone and Big Hugs to all of You.
Bonnie and I are sad to hear of the passing of Dick. I enjoyed his humor and stories he shared about his family, fishing and singing while we work together at the school. Dick will be missed by the Greenwood community which he truly loved.
I am so sorry for your loss.I am keeping you and your family in my prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear of Dick's passing! A very good friend over the years; wonderful memories of playing ball with him in high school at Greenwood. Spent many good times with Dick, he was a true 'friend' and wonderful man. I know he's in the Lord's hands now and we'll all see him again! My true condolences to all his family!
We will miss Dick so very much but we will remember with joy - his love and prayers for Debby, his love for his children and grandchildren and family, his love for friends, his love for his dog-buddy Molly, and his love for his city of Greenwood.

I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was one of my oldest true friends. We Graduated together, played football together, and fished together many times. May God bless and give strength to Debbie, and all of Dick's family.
Steve and I are so sorry to hear the news of Dick's passing. He was a good man and a good friend. I just want to share the memory of Dick and his quartet coming to my office and singing to me on my birthday and for Valentine's Day, which is the day after my birthday (this was a gift from Steve). They sang "I love you truly" It was one of those moments in my life for which I will always be grateful and the memory will always be treasured. Of course all those classmate get-togethers are also treasured memories. RIP our friend. Debbie and family, may God wrap his arms around you and comfort you. Your friends, Frosty and Steve Dillman
Dick was a good Christian man and friend to everyone. He had so many talents and his participation in Barbershop Quartet was especially enjoyable! We always enjoyed any time that we spent together and he will be greatly missed.Greenwood High SchoolClass of 1962
We have lost a very dear friend, neighbor and fellow barbershopper, and Dick will be missed by many people. May God have mercy on his soul and watch over and comfort his wife, Debby, and his family. We all share in this loss and very thankful we have great memories of the good times we all shared together.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
