Sadly, Rick Brown of Indianapolis, formerly of Bremen, passed away suddenly at the age of 64 on November 29 in Indianapolis, IN. Rick was born in Martin, KY on March 26, 1957 and graduated from Allen Central High School. He lived most of his adult life in Bremen with his wife of 42 years, Teresa, and his son Keith. Rick was known for his sense of humor, which he desperately needed as a life-long Raiders fan. And for his kindness, which is fondly remembered by his friends and family. His greatest joy in life came from his grandchildren Jack and Caroline, who proudly remember their Pa-paw as a fisherman who could build or fix anything with whatever he had on hand—from tree houses to the many home improvement projects he completed, lovingly if begrudgingly, for his wife. Rick is preceded in death by parents Lincoln and Mary Brown, siblings Charles Brown and Vanessa White, in-laws Fred and Kathryn Parsons, and in-laws John and Frankie-Lynn Tucker. He is survived by his wife Teresa, son Keith, grandchildren Jack and Caroline Brown, siblings Patricia, Ballard, David, and William Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick’s end of life wishes are being handled by Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Franklin Township Chapel. A private family service will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
