Robert Eugene Moore passed away on February 26th at age 87 after a long battle with dementia.
He was born on May 17, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN.
“Bob” was married to the love of his life, Elizabeth, who he married at age 27. Together they spoiled all their nieces and nephews with lots of laughs and memories through the years. After a 46 year career at John Sexton Foods, Bob retired to spend more time with “Liz”.
While Bob had spent many years serving churches as a deacon and trustee, for the last 30 years he enjoyed being a member at Gray Road Baptist Church.
Bob is survived by his spouse Elizabeth and his brother Rick, along with many nieces and nephews. His parents Claude and Frankie along with siblings Shelia, Carolyn and Danny all passed away in previous years.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, March 8 from 4-8:00 pm at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 7602 Madison Ave., Indpls., 46227. Services will be held Thursday, March 9 at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Private entombment will follow the service.
