Robert L. Stewart, age 91, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. He was born on Saturday, March 2, 1929 in Bloomington, Indiana, to Roy and Muriel Stewart, both of whom precede him in death. Robert was a veteran of the Korean War, having served his country in the United States Marines from 1951-1954. He was a retiree of IUPUI, and was the head accountant for many years.He is survived by his daughter-in-law: Ellen Douglas of Indianapolis; as well as several�nieces and nephews.He is also�preceded in death by Joella M. Stewart; son: Matthew Lane Douglas.No services will be scheduled, honoring Robert’s wishes. Arrangements are in the care of Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
