Robert “Rob” Edward Lee Jordy, 49, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1972 in Indianapolis to Jim Jordy and Kathryn (Childers) Harris. Rob is survived by his mother Kathryn Harris and his step-father Phil Harris; his brother Andrew (Maisey) Harris, and his maternal grandmother Marian Childers. He is preceded in death by his father Jim Jordy. Rob grew up in Central Indiana. He graduated from Center Grove High School, where he played the trumpet in the 1988 State Champion marching band. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, where he participated in Trinity Troop Clown Ministry. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University and started a career at Johnson Controls in Fishers where he worked for 9 years. Rob was widely known as a caring and supportive friend and was dedicated to finding the fun and joys in life. He spent much of his time watching movies, playing board games, video games, and live-action role-playing games. He had a strong group of friends who were his second family and meant the world to him.”Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those who transform into the Force.
