It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Edward Moore. He was a devoted spouse and father, cherished brother-in-law, and dear friend to all who knew him. Stan passed on October 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife of forty years, Tami, and his children.
Stan was born to Edward and Eldena (Wollart) Moore in Denver Colorado on June 9, 1954. He is survived by his wife Tami, daughter Katharine Moore, son Evan (Cassidy) Moore, mother-in-law Karen Bourne, sisters-in-law Rachel (Chis) Gates and Danielle (Doug) Scott, brothers-in-law Thomas (Jenniffer) Smith, Jr. and Michael (Kimberly) Taylor, and many nephews and nieces.
Stan graduated with a bachelors of science in accounting from the University of Indianapolis. His decades-long career as an accountant included working for Chase Bank, American Pools, and Crystal Machining, among others.
A loving father, Stan was always there for his children, guiding them through life’s milestones. His interests varied from civil war history and woodworking to being a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. He was a big supporter of his wife’s hobbies and they often travelled together to quilting shows around the country. Stan also loved animals and was the dad to two adopted cats named Toby and Callie.
As we bid farewell to Stan, let us remember the man who taught us the value of family and friendship. Though he may be gone, his memory will forever live on in our hearts.
