Susan J. Helderbrand, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 3, 1946 in Wilkinson, In., the daughter of the late William E. and Louise R. (Leduc) Sitton.
Susie graduated from Wilkinson High School and worked in customer service for many years and retired from Ed Martin. She loved quilting, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children; Michelle Lewis (Michael) of Greenfield, Kathy (Walter) Spiker of Greenfield, Todd (Brian) Helderbrand of Knightstown and Chad Helderbrand of Greenfield, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; siblings, Roger (Fran) Sitton of TN, Jerry Sitton of Homer, Dennis (Kim) Sitton of Pendleton, John (Suzy) Sitton of Sulphur Springs, Janice (Oren) Jarvis of Dunreith, Ruthie Gosser of Wilkinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Sara Sitton and brother-in-law, James Gosser.
Visitation will be Saturday evening July, 29, 2023 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Funeral service will be at 6:30pm that evening, with Pastor Tony Darling officiating at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 130 Main St., Wilkinson, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
