Teresa Marie Russell

Teresa Russell, age 67, passed away March 6, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Robert and Ebby Zollner. She was known as “T.C.” to her friends and family and loved to go thrifting and antiquing. She was a people person through and through, always talking on the phone or having company over.

T.C. is survived by her daughter: Memorie (Nate Williams) Holifield; son: Nicke Adams; grandchildren: Paige Adams, Ayren Johnson, Kyler Adams, Alyssa Pierce, Jaden Pierce, and Gavin Williams; sisters: Bobbyetta Grantham, and Sara Mitchell; nieces and nephews: Tammy Ridenour, Billy Ridenour, Ronnie Grantham, and Shaun Grantham; as well as her best friend: Cindy Terry.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Ebby Zollner; sister: Sue Zollner; brothers: Bobby Zollner, Billy Zollner, and Michael Zollner; as well as nephews: Larry, Jimmy, and Dean.

The family would like to express their most sincere thanks to the nurses at Gentiva Hospice, and to the caregivers with Optima Home Services, who showed outstanding love, kindness, and support to Teresa in her time of need.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
