Terri D. Hoover, 62, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in Indianapolis. She was a long time Greenwood resident. Terri D. Hoover, 62, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in Indianapolis. She was a long time Greenwood resident.
She was born March 17, 1960, in Bedford, IN to Howard and Oweetah (Norman) Blackburn. She married Kevin Hoover on August 16, 1986 in Indianapolis. He survives. Survivors include two daughters, Chelsea (Eric) Cole of Indianapolis and Dr. Alyssa Hoover of Indianapolis; mother, Oweetah Blackburn of Greenwood; brother, Ty (Trena) Blackburn; and two grandchildren, Victoria and Jackson Cole.
Terri was a graduate of Greenwood High School and IUPUI.
Terri was an IT Specialist and was employed for fifteen years at Endress & Hauser and had previously worked at Greenwood Community School Corporation technology departments.
She had attended Greenwood Christian Church and Emmanuel Church of Greenwood.
Terri was a Past President of the Parent Teachers Organization at Westwood Elementary School, and the Friends of the Greenwood Library.
Visitation will take place from 3-7PM, Sunday, and from 10-11AM Monday, at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street. Rev. Shan Rutherford will officiate a memorial service at 11AM, Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the donor’s favorite choice.
