Theresia D. Griswold, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on June 5, 2023. She is survived by her husband, John Griswold, and her loving sons, Bryan (Allison), Andrew (Molly), and Aaron (Morgan) and her adored grandchildren, Caolan, Crosby, and Marlow.
Theresia is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Drook and father, Russell Martin Drook.
Theresia was known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. Her selflessness and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Theresia spent many years as a devoted daycare provider, nurturing and caring for countless children who held a special place in her heart.
Funeral services for Theresia will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 12, 2023 at St. Alphonsus Liguori Roman Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak St., Zionsville, IN. A luncheon will follow at St. Alphonsus. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 125 W. Sycamore St., Zionsville, IN from 1-4 PM.

I first met Theresia at Carmel High school , fall of 77 , our senior year. We both had a double class, that was new that year. It was a child care class and a day care/ preschool called kids Corner. We got to know each other pretty well as we only had 6 in our class and 4 of us were pretty close. One of the last times we talked she said our teacher said she wouldn’t be very good at child care. We had a laugh as that is what she did most of her life. I’m sorry that we didn’t get a chance to get together again, as we always said that we would.
