I wish her obituary could have been a mile long. I did not really know my grandma till she had her first stroke. We got a call that she had a stroke and I drove my aunt Gloria to the hospital. Side note all 3 of us ended up with Covid. After that I started going to visit my grandma and take her places. I showed up to get her one time and she had green hair for St Patrick’s Day (I still say it was teal) she also had on a green felt coat and red cotton gloves. Oh! And don’t forget the Tierra! She looked like a Christmas tree! We decided to make a bucket list of things to do over the summer. We went to the fair, swimming, to a huge Amish store and more. Every time we were together we laughed. Her AT me me AT her and us together. One time as she was laughing she said she had not laughed that hard since, and she paused for a few moments, then she said, well the last time I was with you. She told me stories about growing up about when she meet my grandfather and the day he died. I might not have gotten 42 years out of my grandma but I think I got some of the best ones. I love and miss you grandma thank you for teaching me to enjoy life no matter what others think and no matter how old you are.
