Wayne Bandy, age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was born on November 21, 1936 in Petroleum, Kentucky. He served his country in the United States Army, as well as the Reserves. Wayne retired as a supervisor from the Indianapolis Water Company (Citizens). He was an avid bowler who enjoyed country music and going camping with his family. He never met a stranger, and everybody who met him loved him.Wayne is survived by his daughters: Debbie (Brian) Abell of Plainfield, and Shirley (Doug Bowmer) Lloyd of Fortville; sisters: Shirley (Larry) Law of Lafayette, Tennessee, and Sue Roark of Fountain Run, Kentucky; grandchildren: Jenny Bandy, Nicholas (Lorraine) Rosenow, Stephen (Kristen) Abell, and Jessica (Steve) Riddle; great-grandchildren: Jaden Bandy, Miranda Rosenow, Sydney Abell, and Cameron Abell; as well as many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years: Jackie Bandy; and his mother: Hazel Wooten.All services are private. Arrangements are in the care of Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
